Definiteness of Purpose

Before anyone can affectively pursue any goal, that person must be specific about what they want and why.  In the book, "Think and Grow Rich", Napoleon Hill spends a significant amount of time expressing the simple, but often overlooked truth that we must be definite about what we are pursuing, in order to have a clear picture in a mind.  The imagination needs a clear picture, among other things, to work with, in order to identify the resources all around us that will manifest that vision (clear mental picture).  If you have'nt invested the time in concentrating on the the specifics of your pursuits as well as determining the "Why" in your life that is motivating you to strive toward your goal, take the time each day, from this point forward, to clarify your goal and you "Why".  Watch and see how much closer you find yourself to you attaining your goals.

It Starts With The Mind

After years of experiencing starts and fits in the world of entrepreneurship I recognized that the major obstacle to my success was not necessarily the financial challenge associated with start up capitol or my lack of knowledge in the area of business principles.  I was committed to learning everything necessary to be successful. However, my motivation- my "why" was too indefinite and lacked any real depth.  It wasn't until I began to fill my mind with literature that caused me to question my motivations and that my level of commitment and my focus  began to intensify.  Success in business for the sake of having money alone does not motivate me, but the realization that my financial pursuits are impacting the arc of the destiny of my children's financial efficacy, is humbling.  Today, I am empowered to positively shift the financial legacy of my family line.  That's a why that matters.
